Portrait of CISP Staff Member
This is my 11th year of being on staff at CISP. I frequently say, "Never a dull moment at CISP." I am the School Counselor and love my job. I have some really difficult days but feel privileged to serve these kids and their families.
My husband and I came to Czechoslovakia to start Young Life. After Bill handed over his job as Area Director to a wonderful Czech co-worker, we began to seek what God had for us next. God led us to CISP. Last year as our school continued to grow, I saw the need for me to step back as co-Chaplain so that I could focus more time as School Counselor.
I am honored, as well, to serve alongside such great people as my co-workers. The majority of our time here, we have attended a Czech church, Cirkev Bratrská. We currently go to a congregation that we got to be a part of starting, over 10 years ago, where we can regularly benefit from the ministry of some whom we saw meet Christ through Young Life years ago. We currently have no plans to leave anytime soon, but I sure miss my kids in the U.S. I love pointing others to Christ, love when Christ's Body behaves the way in which He intended, am most grateful for grace and enjoy His gifts of music, games, fun earrings and chocolate.
